About/Contact

QuinteLive is the magazine and web site that takes an inside look at the entertainment and lifestyle of the Quinte region.

Belleville and the surrounding area have become the entertainment capital of South Eastern Ontario and is a destination of choice of people looking for good times during the summer months.

QuinteLive.ca was launched in July 2010 to keep people in the area informed about all the great things that are happening in the Quinte Region.

Hi – and thanks for taking the time to send in this message.

You’re bang on with your comments about the site. Over the past several months, QuinteLive has become a one-man operation and I have gone through some personal things recently that have kept me from giving my full attention to the site.

The good news is that I’m working on a new design for QuinteLive that will more accurately reflect the type of content that the site will focus on in the coming months – mostly geared around entertainment, arts and fun things to do in the area.

The new version of QuinteLive will be launched in early spring and then I’ll be looking forward to bringing loads of great content to the site once again.

Thanks again for your interest – hopefully I’ll be able to win you back with the new version.

    Aaron

Where does one start? This site idea is a good one, Quitelive, evens sounds good. Perhaps lack of staff or lack of initiative is the problem though. Why have tabs at the top that are all out dated? At the movies….pointless people don’t come here for that. Pinnacle Studios Sessions…..only 3 every done and almost a year ago. This is something that should be continued or removed from the site. Cool things to do, 4 only and last one May 2011….Cool Cuts went strong till last June then died….On Tap not updated weekly.
The Around Town, Live Music and Local Musicians are sort of the same thing and don’t support individual tabs. Same few things are posted in 2 or sometimes all 3. Theatre should be connected to Empire site and try to share traffic.
“Your on line video channel” Don’t get this. This site should be about everything that is “live” in Belleville whether just an article, picture or video.
The FB and Twitter are pointless distraction for the few who may follow. The updating of the main quintelive.ca site should be number 1 priority. This site could be awesome but has dwindled to the point of being fruitless.

My advise, get off FB and twitter and get back to work making a great, informative, entertaining and up to date web site.

    No offence intended.

    Hey,

You guys should consider doing a local politics channel. I bet there is a real demand for long form local political debates and even city counsel meetings. You could even get comments from the main players before or after the event. I’m clearly a news nerd. No one watches channel 4 anymore.
