John, London does not have Iron Maiden, Sarnia does. Three days grace is awesome live saw them last year, Marianas Trench was great live also they really surprised me last summer, The Sheepdogs really rock and have a southern , allman brothers sound ( only previously unsigned band to ever grace the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine) The arkells have a new album and put on a great show. Metric i have never seen live but do get lots of radio time. The other two bands I know nothing about. This lineup is generally for the younger crowd under 30 but so what. I am almost 50 and like the lineup. I know I will be the oldest one there but who cares. If you dont give new music a chance you eventually get stuck listening to the oldies station and once that is too new then you get to listen to CBC radio lol.

Why can’t this music fest get more bands worth listening to in concert. Sure 2 of these bands will be good in concert. But lets keep the music played on mix 97 on mix 97. Just a few to name that have recent cds out or coming out: rise against, the offspring and protest the hero. And there are many more decent, talented bands out there that belleville could easily bring in for this music fest.

I think this would be good for Belleville. It’s a small city/big town, so I think this is good enough. A lot of kids will enjoy it. I wasn’t exactly expecting the line up to be filled with all big bands. I’m pretty sure ZZ Top was the biggest band to ever play this festivel in the past. This will give a chance for the newer and not as well known bands to show their stuff. I see a lot of talent on the line up! Pumped for Three Days Grace!

I think the line up is alright… My Hubby, kids and I will enjoy the concert $300 for 12 hours of concert is a great deal! Mariannas Trench, The New Cities and Three Days Grace makes it worth the money.
