Little Texas

The college to late 30′s crowd love the Little Texas dance floor, live bands and drink specials. But despite the name, don’t expect a country hoedown. Little T’s is pretty much all dance music/top-40 with some classic rock thrown in. Most of the bands are from out of town and are travelling the regional cover band circuit.
Food: For a full menu, head upstairs to Heroes Sports Bar or the newly opened Greek Oasis restaurant in the front of the building.
Need to know: The $6.00 cover usually gets you some quality live entertainment. Friday’s are usually the busiest night and tends to draw a younger crowd.

Vic’s Place
Vic’s is a neighbourhood watering hole that usually has local cover bands playing on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s mostly a beer-drinking crew so there are lots of bottles in the fridge and draught on tap.
Food: Unless fries from a vending machine sound appetizing to you, plan to eat before you arrive.
Need to know: Vic’s is a no-frills local hangout. It’s a great place to hang out and drink up but not a likely choice for a first date.
